On behalf of the volunteer organizers of th dog run project fundraiser held at the OSPCA shelter on Saturday, July 17, we wish to offer a great big thank you to everyone who supported us by bringing their dogs to be bathed.

Special thanks goes to our fabulous groomers who donated their time to make this event such a smashing success.

Thanks to Janice White and her assistant Katie Brown from Better Dog Training and Behaviour, Margo Mijas from Margo’s Dog Grooming at Feed All, Kathy Hampson from Rover’s Ranch and to the volunteers who assisted them, Carol, Pat and Stephanie.

Thanks to Sobeys and Zellers for donating to the BBQ, to Tim Hortons for the door prize, and to Feed All for the bucket of dog biscuits.

We’d like to give a great big hug to our mascot Scooby Doo (aka Stephen Czartorynskyj) for helping to attract such a full and happy crowd, many of whom had a chance to see the dog runs and volunteer Mark Bannon’s tireless hard work in progress.

This fundraiser far exceeded our expectations and we are well on our way to fulfilling our goal – thank you one and all.
