Brian Peel
Brian Watts Peel, 78, of Stratford, died July 8 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in England, he served as a Royal Marine Commando with the British Royal Navy. He came to Canada in 1956 and was a police officer for 28 years with the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force, retiring in 1987 as police inspector. He is survived by his wife Audrey (Pace) Peel and his children Greg Peel of Cardiff, Ont., Kathy Rombis and her husband Chris of Markham and Alison Shaw and her husband Steve of St. Marys. He was predeceased by his parents. A funeral service was held  at the W.G. Young Funeral Home.
