David James Nelder, 61, of Stratford, died in a two-vehicle collision on Road 119 near Gadshill on Monday.
Perth County OPP responded to a call of a two-vehicle collision shortly before noon. Investigation revealed the southbound 2006 Ford pick-up truck driven by Nelder crossed the centre line into the path of a northbound transport truck. Nelder was pronounced dead at the scene. The transport truck driver received minor injuries that did not require hospitalization.
Perth Road 119 was closed in both directions for about four hours while the OPP Traffic Collision Investigation Team examined the scene. The investigation continues.
