Epilepsy Huron Perth Bruce is holding its Glad Days campaign in Stratford and surrounding area next week.
During August, gladioli are sold throughout Canada to heighten public recognition and understanding of epilepsy. The “Give Light and Dreams” campain was introduced by Beth Parker, a woman living with epilepsy.
All money raised by the campaign remains in the local community to support those affected by epilepsy and to provide educational programs to the public.
On Aug. 14 and 15, glads will be sold at New Orleans Pizza in Milverton.
On Aug. 21 and 22, glads will be sold in Stratford at Sobeys, LCBO, Zehrs, Giant Tiger, TD Canada Trust, the Beer Store, Canadian Tire, Festival Marketplace, the Hair Spa, Expressions Hair Design, Hair Fashions Unlimited, Extreme Hair Design, Front Street Dental, Curves and Headquarters Unisex Hair Salon.
They will be sold the same days in St. Marys at Scotia Bank, LCBO and Valu-Mart, as well as at the Post Office in Tavistock.
