Trip organized to Sound of Music
The Stratford Lakeside Seniors Association and the City of Stratford Community Services Department have organized a trip to The Sound of Music at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto later this month.
Those who take in the event Nov. 26 will be able to enjoy the North American premiere of the new David Ian/Andrew Lloyd Webber production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music.
Following the show will be a market-style meal at the Richetree Market Restaurant, two blocks from the theatre.
The bus leaves from the Kiwanis Community Centre at 10:30 a.m. and returns about 8 p.m. The price of a ticket covers transportation, show ticket, dinner, and driver’s tip and there is a discount for purchases of four tickets or more.
