Stratford St. Mikes improved to 16-2 atop the Huron-Perth high school Junior boys volleyball standings last Thursday by winning five of six games.
Warriors swept Exeter South Huron Panthers 25-20, 25-13 and 25-14, and defeated Listowel Lightning 22-25, 25-17 and 25-11.
The Sr. Warriors, meanwhile, travel to Goderich today (Oct. 29) for an important league tournament against the host Vikings, 12-0, and triple-A rival Wingham Madill, 13-5. The St. Mikes Seniors lead the H-P Conference with a 17-1 mark.
Last week, Warriors defeated Exeter 25-15, 25-11 and 25-19, and chalked up three more wins against Listowel -- 25-19, 25-17 and 25-12.

Boys’ U-16 (1994 or younger) 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. (coach Mike Bellai).
Boys’ U-13 (1997 or younger) 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. (coach Danny Millar).
• Stratford Youth Soccer’s Annual General Meeting takes place Tuesday, Nov. 10 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, starting at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
• Stratford Girls Hockey Association is looking for 17 to 20-year-old female hockey players for its Intermediate team. Games are held on weekends.
